The Muslim Students Society of Nigeria, MSSN is set to commission a new mosque, named after its first President and Immediate past Secretary-General of the Nigeria Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs NSCIA, the late Dr Abdul Lateef Adegbite.
In a press notice signed by the current national president Dr Taofeek Yekinni, the commissioning is billed for 9th April 2021 at the edifice site Gwarinpa, Abuja. His Eminence, Sultan of Sokoto, Abubakar Saad is expected to perform the commissioning. MSSN was founded in 1954 with Dr Adegbite among the founding fathers. Similarly, he played sterling roles in nurturing the organisation to a huge umbrella for Muslim students’ of Nigeria and in the Islamic-landscape of the country.
